The developments around artificial intelligence (AI) still continues, with big tech giants contributing to it. It looks like both government and private tech companies are adopting AI on a larger scale. Amidst this development, Nvidia chief executive officer (CEO) Jensen Huang said that AI has the potential to change the tech landscape of India.
During a meeting held with 15 tech czars and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Huang spoke in full support of AI. He said that AI presents a great opportunity and this is ‘India’s Time.’ Huang had met with the Prime Minister during the second day of the meeting with 15 tech czars.

According to the world’s biggest chip company founder, AI has the power to change India, especially the technology sector. He further explained that in order to contribute to this cause, Nvidia will be collaborating with startups, IITs and other companies across India. During the roundtable conference , Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen and IBM’s Arvind Krishna were also among the other tech bosses present there.
The Nvidia CEO also praised India’s Prime minister and showed his admiration. He said that he greatly admired how Modi was working on developments around latest technologies especially on AI. He also said that the Prime Minister is a brilliant student. Every time Huang meets Modi, he gets more interested in learning about artificial intelligence and technology. He believes that he has a lot to learn about the impact and potential of AI in India. Furthermore, Huang said that Modi has a lot of knowledge about AI’s impact on Indian industry and its society.
Huang says ‘ AI to bring change’
Huang claimed that in cooperation with the government, he aims to bring a lot more development in the AI sector in India. To contribute to this, he claimed that “Every IIT now has an Nvidia AI Centre of Excellence where professionals are teaching students how to upskill into this new world of AI.” In addition to this, he also acknowledged that India is wealthy when it comes to having knowledge in computer science. Furthermore, Huang also boasted about Nvidia’s commitment of fostering an innovative landscape with the help of AI.
