Dinner With Taiwanese Partners This Month, Ahead of the Next AI Infrastructure Era
NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang is now reported to be visiting Taiwan this month, planning to inaugurate the construction of the Taiwan HQ, and hold the iconic ‘trillion-dollar’ dinner.
NVIDIA’s CEO Will Sign the Construction Ceremony of the “Constellation” HQ in Taiwan As Well
January is going to be a busy month for Jensen, by the looks of it, given that CES is right around the corner, followed by his visit to Taiwan. According to the United Daily News, NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang is expected to sign the construction of the “Constellation” headquarters in Taiwan this month, marking the company’s first global headquarters outside the US. His visit is also expected to celebrate the year-end with the company’s employees, but most importantly, Jensen will hold dinner with key Taiwanese supply chain partners.
The Constellation HQ was unveiled last year at Computex, and NVIDIA’s CEO revealed that the project is a commitment to Taiwan, since the firm now has thousands of employees in the region. Regarding the specifics of the new Taiwan headquarters, it will be located at the Beitou Shilin Science Park. The office will cover 3.89 hectares in the science park, and construction is expected to commence this month, once NVIDIA’s CEO officially signs the required documentation. We previously reported on how the project had been stalled in the past due to insurance concerns, but it appears that development is back on track.

Apart from Taiwan HQ matters, NVIDIA’s CEO will also host his iconic “trillion-dollar” dinner with supply chain partners, including TSMC, Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron, and many others. While the meeting may not hold much significance in terms of the supply chain dynamics, it is known that NVIDIA’s CEO prefers to keep his partners close, given that the firm operates on a product cycle that requires each element of the supply chain to be pitch-perfect and on time. Currently, Taiwanese partners are working on Blackwell Ultra ramp-up and moving towards the Rubin AI lineup.
Taiwan has evolved into a significant entity for NVIDIA’s businesses, since the nation holds a large portion of the AI supply chain. Jensen has categorized the nation as one of the most important ones, which is why suppliers like TSMC are pivotal for the world’s biggest company.
