HCLTech partners NVIDIA to launch VisionX 2.0 AI platform: US Pioneer Global VC DIFCHQ SFO NYC Singapore – Riyadh Swiss Our Mind

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) on Thursday said it has collaborated with NVIDIA to launch VisionX 2.0, an upgraded version of its multi-modal AI edge platform aimed at improving real-time intelligence, safety and operational efficiency in industrial environments.

The development comes as global IT companies accelerate artificial intelligence adoption amid weak technology spending and a broader selloff in global technology stocks.

HCLTech joins larger peers Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys, which have recently announced partnerships and investments to expand their AI capabilities.

VisionX 2.0 launched with NVIDIA AI stack

VisionX 2.0 integrates NVIDIA’s physical AI computing stack, including NVIDIA Blueprint for video search and summarization, NVIDIA DeepStream, NVIDIA Cosmos Reason vision language models and NVIDIA TAO tools for training vision models, the company said in a statement.

The platform uses computer vision, multi-modal AI and edge-optimised generative AI to enable real-time processing of data locally at industrial sites. This reduces dependence on centralised cloud infrastructure and improves response time.

HCLTech said the platform is designed for mission-critical industrial environments such as manufacturing, infrastructure and logistics operations.

VisionX 2.0 enables analysis of video, images, audio, sensors and IoT data streams to detect anomalies, safety risks and operational issues in real time.
