Brookfield Expands Bloom Energy AI Power Partnership to $25 Billion : US Pioneer Global VC DIFCHQ SFO NYC Singapore – Riyadh Swiss Our Mind

Brookfield has expanded its strategic partnership with Bloom Energy by increasing its financing commitment for AI-related power projects from $5 billion to $25 billion, underscoring growing demand for rapidly deployable electricity to support AI data centers and hyperscale computing.

The fivefold increase, announced Tuesday, will finance Bloom Energy’s fuel cell-based onsite power systems globally as AI developers seek faster alternatives to grid connections amid surging electricity demand. The companies said the partnership combines Brookfield’s capital and AI infrastructure development capabilities with Bloom’s fuel cell technology to deliver integrated AI infrastructure that includes power generation, data center infrastructure and computing capacity.

The companies said the expanded framework reflects increasing demand from hyperscalers and AI infrastructure developers for reliable onsite power that can be deployed more quickly than conventional grid upgrades.

Bloom Chief Commercial Officer Aman Joshi said the enlarged commitment builds on the partnership launched in October 2025 and reflects strong market momentum following several recently announced large-scale projects. Brookfield’s Head of AI Infrastructure, Sikander Rashid, said the expanded collaboration strengthens the firm’s ability to provide end-to-end AI infrastructure solutions “from electrons to tokens.”

The announcement comes as AI-driven electricity demand continues to reshape energy investment priorities, with technology companies increasingly turning to distributed generation, natural gas, fuel cells and other onsite power solutions to avoid delays associated with utility interconnections. Bloom Energy has positioned its solid oxide fuel cell technology as a rapid-deployment solution for data centers requiring continuous, reliable electricity.

The expanded agreement also aligns with Brookfield’s broader AI investment strategy. The asset manager launched a dedicated AI Infrastructure Fund in November 2025, targeting $100 billion in investments across AI factories, power infrastructure, computing assets and related capital partnerships. Brookfield said it has already invested more than $100 billion in digital infrastructure and clean power assets globally.
