Yotta Data Services is in the process of ordering 50,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs and 45,000 GB-300 GPUs, marking India’s largest AI compute infrastructure investment to date. This acquisition, valued at approximately $7.5 billion, will power Yotta’s upcoming 120 megawatt (MW) D4 data center in Delhi, significantly expanding the country’s capacity for advanced AI workloads.

AI Compute Capacity Boost
The Vera Rubin GPUs are designed for agentic artificial intelligence (AI), enabling advanced models to utilise tools and execute complex, multi-step problem-solving. These next-generation GPUs offer 10x higher efficiency than the previous Blackwell architecture, delivering 5x faster inference and 3.5x improved training capabilities. The graphic chips use a 3 nanometre manufacturing process, enhancing data memory speeds beyond 1,500 terabytes per second and significantly lowering the cost per token.
