Nvidia AI Summit 2024 Live, Latest News Today: NVIDIA said that it is partnering with Reliance Industries to build AI infrastructure in India at the first-ever AI summit organised by the chip giant in the country on Thursday, October 24
The three-day event, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, saw NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in conversation with Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani. Huang emphasised that AI is an “extraordinary opportunity” for India due to its ” large industry of computer scientists, enormous amounts of data, and large population of consumers.”
Meanwhile, Ambani said India had the best digital connectivity infrastructure besides the US and China. NVIDIA’s computing system GB-200 is undoubtedly the best technology, the Reliance chairman said, adding that he had “deep respect” for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for making the Llama AI model open-source.
