CoreWeave Just Scored Another Big AI Win : US Pioneer Global VC DIFCHQ SFO NYC Singapore – Riyadh Swiss Our Mind

CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) is adding another multiyear AI infrastructure customer as Harell Data taps the company’s cloud platform to run model training, fine-tuning and inference workloads. The agreement reinforces CoreWeave’s position as a specialized provider of high-performance AI compute and gives investors another data point supporting the company’s push to lift revenue generated from each gigawatt of deployed infrastructure.

Harell Data provides proprietary scientific datasets used to train AI models. Its platform lets customers run models against those datasets without receiving direct access to the underlying data, an approach designed to preserve data security while still enabling model development.

Under the agreement, workloads will run on Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) A100 and Hopper GPUs through CoreWeave. Harell said the raw data itself will remain inside its own platform.

The deal comes as Wall Street focuses heavily on whether CoreWeave can translate massive AI-compute demand into improving infrastructure economics.

UBS recently initiated coverage of CoreWeave with a Buy rating and $120 price target, arguing that revenue per gigawatt could rise from roughly $11 billion currently to more than $15 billion over time.

That metric matters because CoreWeave’s growth story depends not just on adding data-center capacity, but on monetizing that capacity more efficiently as demand for GPU-heavy AI workloads rises.

CRWV shares were up about 1% in premarket trading Wednesday. The stock has gained roughly 20% year to date and trades at around three times estimated 2027 revenue.

Investor Takeaway

For CoreWeave investors, the Harell agreement matters more as evidence of demand durability than as a standalone financial catalyst, since deal terms were not disclosed.

The key metrics to watch are contracted backlog, utilization, revenue per gigawatt and capital spending needed to support new capacity.

If CoreWeave can move revenue per gigawatt toward UBS’s $15 billion-plus estimate while keeping utilization high, the company could improve the economics of its rapidly expanding infrastructure base.

The main risk is execution. CoreWeave must continue securing enough long-duration AI workloads to justify heavy investment in GPUs and data centers while managing the capital intensity that comes with scaling them.
