NVIDIA (NVDA, Financials) is laying down deeper roots in India with a big office lease in Bengaluru, highlighting its push in global AI development.The local unit of the corporation has taken on lease roughly 760,000 square feet of office space in Mahadevpura for 10 years in a deal valued at over $130 million. The lease, effective April 1, 2026, will include 12 floors in Bagmane Capital’s Memphis South Tower. Nvidia has also put up a security deposit of more than $3.6 million.The agreement is one of the largest office leasing transactions in Bengaluru and would be an important step for Nvidia in expanding its footprint in India with the company more than tripling its present office space in the country.The new facilities will reportedly assist engineering, research and AI-related operations as Nvidia strives to increase its capabilities to meet growing global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.India has emerged as a major destination for tech talent and the move underlines Nvidia’s strategy to expand its footprint in high-growth areas powering AI development.The move comes amid a worldwide surge in demand for sophisticated processors and AI systems, allowing the company to double its workforce and operating capacity.
