NVIDIA’s Latest AI GPU Systems Expected To Grow Shipments By 300% In Q3 : US Pioneer Global VC DIFCHQ SFO NYC Singapore – Riyadh Swiss Our Mind

NVIDIA’s Blackwell GB300 enterprise AI system’s shipments are expected to grow 300% in the third quarter, suggest brokerage estimates. Blackwell is NVIDIA’s latest design architecture for AI GPUs and started shipping earlier this year. During the second quarter, roughly half of NVIDIA’s data center revenue came through Blackwell chips, a year after the firm had to alter the chip’s production ‘mask’ to increase production efficiency.

NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU Based Systems Expected To Ship Up To 60,000 Units Next Year

A GB300 Blackwell system from NVIDIA is made of 72 of the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and 36 Arm-based processors. It is the most advanced AI infrastructure system in the world and one of the most heavily demanded ones as well.

NVIDIA started shipping the first customer samples of its Blackwell GPUs during last year’s second fiscal quarter. At the time, the firm had executed a product mask update of GPU as it shared that Blackwell production would ramp in the fourth quarter and contribute to revenue for the first time.

After the Blackwell ramp started in last year’s fourth quarter, NVIDIA described it as its fastest ramp in history and added that the architecture generated $11 billion in revenue. In the following quarter, NVIDIA explained that the Blackwell ramp had expanded to all customer categories, meaning that its gaming customers were able to access chips designed with the latest architecture as well.

During its second quarter of 2025 (Q2FY26) NVIDIA’s Blackwell revenue grew by 17% quarter-over-quarter, or sequentially. In particular, Blackwell sales also helped NVIDIA’s Gaming and Professional Visualization segments, which are not dependent on AI-specific computing requirements. The second quarter was also the first time NVIDIA mentioned the Blackwell Ultra GPU, which started its production ramp during this time.

Now, US brokerage estimates suggest that Blackwell GB200 and GB300 systems, which are GPU racks for enterprise use, can grow their shipments by 300% sequentially during the third quarter. Additionally, next year these systems could ship as many as 60,000 units.

Previous estimates have suggested that during Q4 2025, Microsoft was expected to order roughly 1,500 GB200 racks. The latest rack shipment estimates come amidst a flurry of optimism surrounding Taiwan’s Hon Hai Technology Group, or Foxconn. Foxconn is one of NVIDIA’s leading contract manufacturers for Blackwell rack assembly, and analysts believe that the firm can continue to see tailwinds from growing AI demand.
