MARSEILLE, France, Nov. 27, 2024 – Sesterce has launched a new supercomputer featuring NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, hosted in Digital Realty’s data center in Marseille. Designed to address the growing demand for powerful cloud GPU solutions, the supercomputer offers customers decarbonized AI-as-a-Service with a focus on scalability and sustainability.
Equipped with NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs interconnected via InfiniBand technology, the cluster delivers exceptional performance and energy efficiency for AI workloads. This enables Sesterce clients to develop scalable AI projects of any size while ensuring optimal resource usage and environmental responsibility.
AI adoption continues to accelerate, with increasing demand for computing power and storage capacity. In 2023, France had over 600 AI startups—a 24% increase since 2021—a trend expected to grow in the coming years. However, this rapid growth brings significant energy consumption challenges, highlighting the need for sustainable computing solutions.

Additionally, Digital Realty is committed to achieving carbon neutrality across its European data center portfolio by 2030, alongside a 68% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions globally (against a 2018 baseline) and a 24% reduction in Scope 3 emissions globally within the same timeframe.
