NEW DELHI: Tata Communications and Cisco on Monday said they have extended their longstanding global strategic partnership with the integration of Cisco Meraki-based Wi-Fi solutions and SD-WAN services into the Tata Communications ecosystem.

“This new agreement is between Tata Communications and Cisco Meraki to empower enterprises with simple and easy to deploy, manage, and analyze IT infrastructure for delivering anywhere, anytime access,” the companies said in a joint statement.

Cisco Meraki will enable Tata Communications to offer cloud-managed Wi-Fi services based on Wi-Fi 6 and Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) services across various industries.

“The combined expertise ensures smoother lifecycle management and superior user experience to the enterprises’ stakeholders with greater security, efficiency, and agility,” Tata Communications and Cisco said.

Additionally, enterprises will be able to offer customized end-user experiences such as guest Wi-Fi authentication, services, and location-based analytics across sectors such as retail, manufacturing, healthcare, amongst others.
